Conflict grinding down alacrity. And as you tried hard to reconcile "His" will you opted to drown the jungle-rot that ate through every part of you. Festered in your chair. Rooting deep in shallow soil, and though your leaves were not that brown you let them fall. I let them fall. Conflict grinding down alacrity. And as you tried hard to reconcile "making it home" I fought with you, I fought with myself, and the helplessness that we both endured, you chose to drown the answers, drown the jungle-rot that ate through almost every part of you. I hope to fall far from your tree and stay your rotting echo wired in this brain, with what hope remains.
